I have finally gotten all my fabric together and organized the way that I want it. I sent everything off to my aunt and Paducah and she is nice enough to put it togther for me. When I laid everything out in the floor it was Queen size but when she is done I don't know how big it will actually be. Here are a few pics of the order I picked.

I've been a bad blogger, I know. I don't have much to report on the adoption front, good things come to those who wait. Honestly, I'm tired of hearing people tell me that. As I write this Ken and I just watched Barry Bonds break baseball history. The only reason I mention this is because that is all I have heard him talk about for a week so I am glad it is finally over hahaha.
I was hoping we would take one more trip before summer ended but everything has gone too fast.
Ken has a birthday in a couple of weeks so don't forget!!
We just passed our 9 month Log in date and referrals came out earlier this week for the week of Nov. 14-21 2005. China sucks! They are so slow it is getting irritating. We try and keep ourselves busy and try not to concentrate too much on it, though it usually comes up in conversation somewhere once a day. I do know of a couple of people who are getting referrals so I am happy for them.
I just wanted to check in and let everyone know we are still here!

Hope everyone had a great 4th! Ken and I went to the Bahamas a couple of weeks ago to his sister Suzanne's wedding. Here are a few pics. We stayed at Atlantis and had a great time and great food. Things have been busy this summer, I will try and do better about posting. Have a good weekend!

Gina is a definite girly girl and this fabric fits her perfect. Wish 101 Betsy Paty my favorite cousin. Betsy and I went to college together and she sent me a t shirt that I wore all the time. Today is our 7th month log in month. Referrals should be out soon for Nov. 2005. Hopefully it will be a good batch:) If you want to keep up on rumors for China check out www.chinaadopttalk.com, the rumor queen is pretty knowledgeable. I don't know where she gets her info but she has sources all over the world.
My friend from College, Jennifer is in labor tonight as I type this. She was induced this afternoon so hopefully it won't be too long of a labor.
I have more fabric to post not much just a couple of pieces. If you haven't mailed me anything yet you can still do it.
I will post some pics tomorrow.

I thought I would give a quick update on everything. Mandy and Knox are home and doing well. Her breathing is good they just need to keep her clear of any infections for the next several weeks. She weighed 6 lbs 2oz and 19 inches long. Carson is starting to like her new sister a little more each day. She had a great week with her MiMi while Mandy and Gable were down at Vanderbilt. She and MiMi shopped shopped and shopped. I still don't have any pictures of Knox yet, I hope to get some soon now that she is home.

I am back on the Weight Watcher train which is torture as I watch Ken eat a pizza as an appetizer before dinner. We will have to have our physicals updated this summer and I would like to weigh less than I did last summer. Ken doesn't seem to be concerned. If any one can give me some Weight Watcher tips that would be great. I have gotten addicted to Power Pops. They are suckers that have hoodia in them and they boost energy and curb your appetite www.PowerPops.com. If anyone would like to order some in the Bowling Green area email me svolkert@insightbb.com

There is nothing new on China :( Just please pray the referrals pick up some speed. Ken and I plan on going to The Bahamas this summer and hopefully Chicago so that should keep us busy. We always toy with the idea of going back to San Francisco in the fall.
Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Happy Easter!! Hope everyone had a great Easter. We had lunch with family today and watched the girls go on an Easter egg hunt. I will post pictures later.

As far as adoption news I heard a rumor last night that is heart breaking. Referrals are on their way this week and the rumor is they only covered 2 days worth of log in dates. The past year they have been covering between 11 and 14 days per month when they should be covering 30 to 45 days. Only 2 days is horrible horrible horrible. The cut off last month was March 24th so this month will be just the 25th and 26th. They need to go ahead and at least finish the month of Oct. 2005. Hopefully it is just a rumor. I will let you know when I find out.

I counted my squares today and I am almost at 100. So if you are planning on sending one and haven't yet I would still love to get it.
